Research Activities at RERI:
- Studying fluid experiment data
and designing case studies to compare various aspects of CO2
and N2 injection in fractured reservoirs.
- Developing higher order
black-oil reservoir simulator for fractured media with capillary pressure,
using mixed finite element, discontinuous Galerkin and discrete fractures,
and showing their advantages over dual porosity models in implementation
of threshold capillary and simulating reinfiltration process.
